Especially if have cats that never do stuff on queue! I wouldnt have thought it, but this is a keeper!

This thing works great so far. Admittedly I havent used it a whole bunch yet but to be able to record up to TEN seconds in the past, well thats golden! One thing that would be great is if it had an "audio only" mode for when you hear something really funny and want to record it.

One of the killer features of some camcorders on the market is exactly the ability to "pre-record". This app removes one more difference between the iPhone cam vs dedicated camcorders. For those who record sports and kids, this is a must buy! It totally helps keeping the video clip small and filled with only highlights. So far I had no problems with this. Works well! Look forward to more updates to make it even better!

Any camera with pre-record you still have to switch it on and have the right settings AND AIM before it works! This is an add on so it takes an extra step ! Great app

I always fumbled around hitting native camera app, swiping video then record. This is a one stop GO! The pre record is a cool bonus. Good job.

Cool idea, but it should be at least as good as the regular camera app once youre filming something, and right now its still a little clunky. For pre-recording to occur, the app needs to be open, and in the foreground, and pointing at something. Not always practical with a phone, you generally dont take your phone out of your pocket until you want to use it. But would be useful in situations where you anticipate filming, but just want to film here and there, maybe at your kids soccer game or something, and youre prepared to sit with the app open and your lens poised, but dont want to fill up your phones memory.

Does what it says it does. Simple. Easy. Just works.

Looks good, works great, especially since they fixed the saving freeze. Completely replaced default video recording; why ever do that now?

useless because it doesnt reliably save your vids! This started to occur after the last "update". Missed some good video because of it. 3 strikes, and promptly deleted after the third offense. WASTE OF MONEY

Waste my money on this. Who know the same precorder option, but record also on slow motion?

Brilliant idea for a long time problem. Forget missing spontaneous moments or recording for hours only to capture a few epic sections of video. Makes recording the best clips a breeze. Worth the buy!

Terrific idea; deceiving hype. Records extremely low quality video. Fix that and itll be worth 5 stars despite the very high price.

What a great idea – and just in time! Been playing around with the app this morning and can’t wait to take it home to record my baby Kevin’s first steps … it’s taking him a while to get the hang of it … now it won’t be at the expense of extra footage and edit time. Thanks!

I can finally get great footage of my cat doing tricks without having to edit through tons of footage. Made a video worthy of sending Mother on a first take!

This app is ridiculously cool!! I cant believe no one has thought of this before. Its uses are really endless, but in the first 30 minutes of owning it I caught my cat doing a backflip and got the best fireworks video from my balcony that I have ever seen. No more recording the whole thing! I just waited for the ones I liked and hit record!! Keep up the good work!!
